Flackwell Heath

Flackwell Heath is a popular village between High Wycombe, Marlow and Beaconsfield just south of Junction 3 of the M40, which gives good access to the M25, while the A40 provides a direct link to central London. Trains to London Marylebone can be taken from High Wycombe or from Beaconsfield with a journey time of just 23 minutes.There are two schools in the village - Carrington infant and junior schools, and Juniper Hill School and secondary schools are nearby such as John Hampden School (High Wycombe) for boys and Wycombe High (Wycombe) and Beaconsfield High for girls.

Wooburn Green

Wooburn Green is a popular village set in the Buckinghamshire countryside situated between Beaconsfield and Bourne End approximately 30 miles west of London.  The village has a variety of small businesses, pubs and excellent schools and has easy access to the River Thames at Bourne End.  Close to J3 on the M40 giving access to the M25 and M4.  Trains to London Marylebone can be taken from Beaconsfield and to Paddington from Bourne End via Maidenhead.

Bourne End

Bourne End is approx. 30 miles west of London, on the banks of the River Thames between Marlow and Cookham. and offers an excellent variety of shops, pubs & restaurants and sporting facilities. There are schools for children of all ages with selective education at secondary school level. Access to the M40 & M4 motorways is nearby. There are regular bus services to High Wycombe and Maidenhead. Bourne End train station provides services to London Paddington via Maidenhead. Main line railway station at Beaconsfield serving London Marylebone.

Marlow

Marlow is approx. 30 miles west of London, Marlow is a picturesque town on the banks of the River Thames between Henley-on-Thames and Maidenhead. Marlow’s High Street offers first class restaurants, pubs and shops and enjoys access to Higginson Park which is next to the River. Marlow has schools for children of all ages with selective education at secondary school level. Maidenhead

Maidenhead is a friendly and vibrant town near the River Thames, with a long history going back to the Stone Age. It is situated approx 27 miles from London. Maidenhead railway station and offering frequent, direct services to London, Reading, Newbury, Didcot and Oxford.The town lies adjacent to junction 8/9 on the M4 motorway and is accessed via the A404(M) and A308(M). The A308(M), A404(M) and A404 form the Marlow and Maidenhead bypass which also acts as an important link between the M4, to the south of the town, and M40 at High Wycombe. Maidehead offers a large selection of primary and secondary schools and also a college.

Hazlemere

Hazlemere is a highly desirable residential area situated north of High Wycombe and within easy reach of Beaconsfield, Amersham and Great Missenden. It’s surrounding areas are very rural with large areas of farmland and greenbelt. The village offers excellent schools for all ages, football, tennis, and cricket clubs. There is an 18 hole golf course, a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The village is within the commuter belt, with railway stations at High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Amersham serving London and Birmingham. Road links are close by, with easy access to the M40, the M25 and Heathrow.

Penn

Penn is a sought after village in Buckinghamshire, two miles north of Beaconsfield. The area is within the Chiltern Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is very popular with families wanting a semi-rural setting but close to major transport links. It is only minutes from the M40, M25 and Heathrow. Penn is also very close to the mainline rail station at Beaconsfield with journey times of approx. 25 minutes to London Marylebone. Penn has a few village shops and doctors surgery. All other day-to-day needs can be met in Beaconsfield, which has an excellent High Street. There are a number of excellent local country pubs dotted around Penn and the neighbouring villages of Tylers Green and Forty Green. Set high on the wooded hills, twelve counties can be seen on a clear day from the church tower. There are also excellent schools within the village and a well-regarded youth football team.

Downley

Downley is one of the most sought after parts of High Wycombe offering an ideal balance of a semi-rural lifestyle yet within minutes reach of the amenities of the town. This beautiful village sits high in the Chiltern Hills to the north side of High Wycombe, abutting the National Trust Hughenden Manor and Park and surrounded by green belt land in the Chilterns Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty. The common and surrounding woodland are the focal point of the village and are a dream for keen walkers or cyclists. Residents enjoy a selection of shops on the village High Street and two other parades ideal for everyday needs, with two popular pubs also within the village.
